(ORAL) The petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to official respondents to submit the status report regarding action taken on complaint dated 18.04.2023 (Annexure P-2) submitted by the petitioner against respondents No.4 and 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that a complaint was given to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala, against private respondents on 18.04.2023 (Annexure P-2). Thereafter, the parties arrived at a compromise which has been annexed as Annexure P-3. Learned counsel submits that it had been categorically settled between the parties that in case the private respondents failed to adhere to the terms and conditions of the settlement, the petitioner could again move an application against them to the authorities concerned for initiating action. Counsel submits that the petitioner then moved another complaint dated 25.07.2023 (Annexure P-4) against the private respondents before respondent No.2, however, the authorities concerned had been sitting over the matter and have failed to initiate any action against the private respondents.
