* * Present petition has been filed under Section 482 CrPC for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to conduct a fair and impartial investigation in a time bound manner in FIR No.230 dated 06.09.2019 under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC, Annexure P-1 as well as into FIR No.233 dated 07.09.2019 under Sections 406, 120, 120-B IPC, Annexure P-2 registered at Police Station Civil Line, Patiala.
Learned State counsel has filed status report dated 20.02.2023 by way of affidavit of Sanjeev Singla, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-I, District Patiala. Same is taken on record. Copy thereof has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. He on instructions from ASI Satnam Singh submits that challan has been prepared and shall be presented within a period of 2 months. In view of the above statement, the learned counsel for the petitioner expresses his satisfaction and states that present case may be disposed of. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of as no further orders are required to be passed.
