Mr. Sapan Dhir, Advocate for respondent No.6. Tribhuvan Dahiya, J. (Oral) The petition has been filed seeking directions to respondents No.3 and 4 not to harass the petitioners at the behest of respondent No.6 and to protect their life and liberty.

Learned State counsel contends that the complaints/ representations made by the petitioners were looked into, and keeping in view the apprehension of breach of peace, preventive action was taken against respondent no.6 under Section 126 and 129 BNSS was taken vide DDR No.31 dated 12.08.2024. In case the petitioners have any apprehension or threat in future, they can make representation to respondent no.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, which will be looked into, and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with law. 3.

In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioners has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.
