RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to file status report in case FIR No.66, dated 21.03.2009, registered under Sections 419, 420, 498-A, 120-B IPC, at Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, District Jalandhar City against the private respondents.

Counsel has submitted that the Investigating Agency is not proceeding with the investigation.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State and submits that after investigation, the cancellation has been filed in this case but the learned Magistrate has returned the same with a direction to reinvestigate the matter and thus, the present case is under investigation and the Investigating Agency would conclude the investigation within a month from today.

After hearing the submissions made by learned State counsel, MEENU 2022.12.01 17:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-50614-2022 -2the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to complete the investigation within one month from today, as submitted before this Court.
