The petitioner seeks grant of regular bail in case registered vide FIR No.179 dated 4.7.2019 under Section 22 of NDPS Act registered at Police Station Sadar Dhuri, District Sangrur.

The allegations in nut-shell are that the petitioner was found in possession of 340 tables of Alprasafe having an average weight of 120 mg. per tablet. Upon chemical analysis, Forensic Science Laboratory has opined that the said tablets contained 'Alprazolam'.

Going by average weight of recovered tablets, which is stated to be 120 mg. the weight of the recovered contraband would work out to 40 grams approximately, which is less than the limits of commercial quantity, which GAURAV SOROT 2020.01.17 18:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
