On asking of the court, Mr. Rakeshinder Singh Sidhu, A.A.G, Punjab, who is present in the Court accepts notice and submits that intimation by Registry informing of fixation of the petition has already been received and record of the case is available with him. Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Prem Chand submits that vide judgment dated 15.10.2019, petitioner-Gursewak Singh has been acquitted of the charge for offence punishable under Section 379-B IPC; convicted for offence punishable under Section 411 IPC and released on probation, as such, this petition has been rendered infructuous. None has appeared for the petitioner.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
