(ORAL) Challenge in the present revision petition is order dated 24.04.2017 passed by learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ganaur whereby application under Sections 12 and 18 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 filed by respondent is allowed and the petitioner No.1 was directed to pay Rs.6,000/-p.m. as accommodation charges to the respondent from the date of filing the petition; and order dated 13.09.2022 passed by learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sonipat whereby the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order dated 24.04.2017 has been dismissed.
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition as the divorce by mutual consent has been granted by Hon'ble Supreme Court vide order dated 09.08.2024 passed in SLP(C) No. 27664/2019 titled as Arvind Selwal vs. Sudesh. A copy of the said order has been handed over in Court, which is taken on record.
