Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed for issuance of appropriate order or direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to take appropriate legal action against respondents No.4 and 5 and other coaccused. 2.

In pursuance to order dated 02.11.2022 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, learned State counsel had filed status report dated 20.02.2023, relevant part of which is reproduced hereinbelow:- "4. That it is submitted that the office of the S.S.P., Sri Muktsar Sahib received an application (No.1789-PC7/22 dated 16.09.2022) from the petitioner in which the petitioner leveled the same allegations against the private respondents which are now the subject matter of the present petition. The said application was sent to the Police Station Gidderbaha for enquiry. During the enquiry, it has been found that the private respondent No.4 Parminder Kaur (first wife of the petitioner) SUNENA 2024.02.13 17:34 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

2024:PHHC:018836 filed an application u/s 125 Cr.P.C. in the learned Court of JMIC, Gidderbaha against the petitioner for grant of maintenance. The learned Court of JMIC, Gidderbaha granted maintenance of Rs.5000/- per month to the petitioner. Since a huge amount has accumulated on account of maintenance, the private respondent No.4 filed an execution application in the learned court of JMIC, Gidderbaha. Instead of paying the maintenance amount to the private respondent No.4, the petitioner has filed the present petition on false facts in order to put pressure so that the private respondent No.4 does not peruse her execution application".

On the last date of hearing i.e. 05.09.2023, learned counsel for the petitioner had sought time to go through the aforesaid status report and make his submissions. However, today there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner which shows the inability of the learned counsel for the petitioner to controvert aforesaid status report. 4.

In view of the above undisputed position, I find no merit in the present petition. The same is accordingly dismissed. 5.
