The limited prayer made in the instant case is that a revision petition (Annexure P-10) filed by the petitioner in terms of provisions of Rule 16.32 of Punjab Police Rules, 1934 against order dated 4.10.2022 (Annexure P-6) terminating him from service, is lying undecided although the same has been filed on 22.6.2023.

Having regard to the limited prayer made in the instant petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 - State of Punjab through its Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Punjab Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh to get the revision petition (Annexure P-10) filed by the petitioner examined and to dispose of the same by passing an appropriate order in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of 3 months from today.
