Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 & 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her minor grandson, namely, Ashpreet Singh, at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 7 and their henchmen.

 



  earned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he had moved a representation dated 09.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) before respondent No.2, but no action on the same has been taken till date and he would be satisfied, if respondent No.2 is directed to look into and decide the said representation. Notice of motion.

Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice and submitted that she has no objection if the aforesaid representation dated JYOTI 2025.08.08 17:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP No.8577 of 2025 09.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) is looked into.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, to look into the aforesaid representation and decide the same, and to take appropriate steps as per law, if any required, at the earliest, regarding threat perception.
