Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is for directing respondent Nos.2 to 4 to expedite the investigation and present the challan against private respondent Nos.5 and 6 in FIR No.139 dated 20.08.2022 registered under Sections 406, 420, 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 24 of Immigration Act at Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a settlement has been arrived at between the parties therefore he does not want to pursue the present petition.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as not pressed. 4.
