Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for directing the official respondents to conduct proper and fair investigation in the representation dated 15.11.2021 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner.

A perusal of the paper book shows that daughter of the petitioner was married to Bal Krishan and it was a love marriage. However, her husband and in-laws started harassing her and physically assaulted her on account of dowry. It has been averred in the petition that son-in-law of the petitioner was suffering from communicable disease which was concealed and he has now started uploading photographs of his daughter on the social media without her consent. The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 15.11.2021 (Annexure P-1) to the Superintendent of SAVITA KADIAN 2022.02.10 15:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

Without examining the allegations levelled in the petition or in the representation, at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to Superintendent of Police, Ambala-respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 15.11.2021 (Annexure P-1) and thereafter, to take appropriate steps as warranted, in accordance with law. A copy of this order alongwith copy of representation, Annexure P-1 be sent to the Superintendent of Police, Ambala, respondent No.2 to enable him to do the needful expeditiously.
