CHANDIGARH CWP No.27102 of 2021 (O&M) DATE OF DECISION: 06.01.2022 Harjeet Singh .....Petitioner versus State of Punjab and others .....Respondents CORAM:- HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ALKA SARIN
Present:

ALKA SARIN, J. (Oral):
Heard in virtual mode.
This is a Civil Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioner in view of Resolution No.5 dated 30.09.2011 (Annexure P-2) which was approved by the Director vide letter dated 01.11.2011 (Annexure P-3) and Resolution No.31 dated 12.12.2011.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that with regard to the prayer made in the writ petition, a Legal Notice dated 30.08.2021 (Annexure P-4) has already been served upon the respondents, however, till date, no decision has been taken qua the same. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that at this stage she limits her prayer and would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.4 to take a time-bound decision on the said Legal Notice dated 30.08.2021 (Annexure P-4).
