Advocate General, Punjab. **** SHEEL NAGU, CHIEF JUSTICE (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 16 dated 23.02.2024 under Sections 304 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code registered at Police Station Koom Kalan, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana.

Status report filed by respondent-State of Punjab is taken on record.

The petitioner who is in custody since 02.03.2024 is alleged to have been involved in supplying drugs. The petitioner has criminal antecedents comprising of similar offences punishable under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in regard to which the petitioner has not disclosed anything in this petition.

In view of the above, this Court declines the prayer for grant of regular bail to the petitioner and is granted liberty to revisit the Court after examination of main prosecution witnesses or if the trial is further delayed, whichever is earlier.
