For the reasons set out in the application, which is duly supported by an affidavit, the same is allowed. Consequently, the delay of 156 days in filing the accompanying appeal is condoned. RFA-3946-2017 Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the matter in issue is squarely covered by the order and judgment dated 15.02.2016, rendered by this Court in RFA No. 3220 of 2014, titled "Parveen Lata v. State of Punjab and another", and other connected matters, vide which, in the appeals arising out of the same acquisition, this Court had enhanced the compensation awarded to the landowners to Rs. 1,564/- per square yard. The factual position as set out above, is not disputed by learned counsel for the respondents.
