RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to respondents to arrest the accused in case FIR No.8, dated 12.01.2022, registered under Sections 376, 506 IPC, at Police Station Khuian Sarwar, District Fazilka and take strict legal action against respondents No.5 and 6. Counsel has submitted that the Investigating Agency is not proceeding with the investigation.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State and submits, on instructions from SI Baljeet Singh, that investigation in this case has been completed and cancellation has been approved by the Senior Superintendent of Police, which would be presented before the Court of Illaqa Magistrate.

After hearing the submissions made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to file the cancellation report, as submitted before this Court, within 15 days from MEENU 2022.12.01 17:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
