(ORAL) Prayer in the present Contempt Petition is to initiate proceedings against the respondents for willful and intentional disobedience of order dated 13.07.2022 (Annexure P-6) passed in CWP-14734-2022 titled as "Mohammad Arshad vs. Union of India and others".
Perusal of the order sheets shows that the matter has been adjourned either on the request of; or due to non-appearance of the petitioner. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 submits that in pursuance to the order dated 13.07.2022 passed by Division Bench of this Court in CWP14734-2022 (Annexure P-6); whereby direction has been given to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and issue decision/clarification in that regard expeditiously, has been complied with and order dated 20.09.2022 (Annexure R-1) has been passed; as per which the matter has been examined.
