This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.18 dated 14.11.2018 under Sections 498-A, 406 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Women, Ferozepur, on merits.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous as the petitioner stands acquitted vide judgment dated 04.09.2023. As per the E-courts website of District Court, Ferozepur also, the petitioner stands acquitted vide judgment dated 04.09.2023 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ferozepur. 3.
