This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, 'BNSS, 2023') by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.120 dated 03.07.2025, under Sections 303(2) and 317 (2) of BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Model Town, Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely involved in this case and he is not required for any custodial interrogation. The offence in this FIR is triable by Magistrate and maximum punishment provided is upto 07 years.
