(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to the official respondents to conduct fair and impartial investigation in FIR No.139 dated 10.08.2022 registered under Sections 306, 34 IPC at Police Station City Patti, District Tarn Taran. Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Balwinder Singh, submits that the cancellation report is already prepared, which is pending approval with the Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran. In view of the above, counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition at this stage, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran or the trial Court to avail his alternative remedy, in accordance with law.

Dismissed as withdrawn, at this stage, with liberty aforesaid.
