MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 13.09.2024 passed by this Court, report of learned CJM, Gurugram, has been received. Along with compliance report, statement of detenue has also been received in a sealed envelope, which has been opened and perused. 2.

As per report dated 18.09.2024, the prosecutrix/alleged detenue, aged 20 years, got her statement recorded before the learned CJM to the effect that she had not been illegally detained by any of the respondents; she did not wish to return to the petitioner or any of her family members as she apprehended threat to her life and liberty at the hands of her own family including the family of her maternal uncle. 3.

Status report by way of affidavit of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Manesar, District Gurugram, has also been filed by learned counsel for the State in Court, which is taken on record.
