Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in criminal case having FIR No.39 dated 15.04.2025 registered under Sections 331 (4) and 305 of BNS, 2023 at Police Station Kulgarhi, District Ferozepur. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner is falsely implicated in this case only on the basis of disclosure statement of co-accused Suraj. The present petitioner is not named in the FIR and there is delay in registration of the present case. The petitioner is ready to join the investigation.

Mr. Ravinder Singh, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and submits that the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation as stolen jewellery articles of the complainant are yet to be recovered. Keeping in view the contention of learned State counsel, the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation as stolen articles i.e. jewellery are yet to be recovered in this matter and the material evidence are yet to be collected 7.

No case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made out.
