1. The instant petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus so as to get released the detenue namely Mohd. Tabrez, who is stated to be illegally confined by respondents No.2 at Police Station Sector - 11, Economic Wing, Panchkula.

2. Pursuant to issuance of notice of motion by this Court on 13.9.2024 report of Warrant Officer has been received, as per which the alleged detenue has been arrested in connection with FIR No.137, dated 4.7.2024 registered at Police Station Raipur Rani, District Panchkula, under Sections 120-B, 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 of Indian Penal Code and Section 24 of Immigration Act.

3. In view of the aforestated position, it cannot be said that the alleged detenue is illegally detained.

4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition.

5. In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
