The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.0180 dated 29.12.2022, registered under Sections 420, 447, 427, 506, 511 and 34 IPC, at Police Station Majitha Road, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the instant petition with liberty to raise all pleas before the trial Court at the appropriate stage. He however, prays that the trial Court be directed to grant exemption to the petitioner from personal appearance, he being a senior citizen and a resident of Mumbai. He is ready to furnish an undertaking by way of affidavit to appear before the trial Court on the dates, for which his presence is absolutely necessary.

Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. 4.

In case the petitioner files an application for grant of exemption from personal appearance, the trial Court shall sympathetically consider the same keeping in view the aforesaid facts.
