HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioners have sought directions to the official respondents to protect their life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 7, who are parents and relatives of petitioner No.1.

It is the case of the petitioners that both the petitioners are aged about 20 years. It is stated that as of now, they are living in live-in relationship. They intend to solemnize marriage as and when petitioner No.2 attains marriageable age of 21 years. As the private respondents are opposed to their living together and their marriage, the petitioners apprehend danger to their life from them.

Learned State counsel states that the statements of petitioner No.1 and respondent Nos.4 to 7 have been recorded separately wherein it has come out that petitioner No.1 is residing with private respondents. Respondent Nos.4 to 6 i.e parents of petitioner No.1 states that as petitioner No.1 is residing with them, they have no grievance against petitioner No.2 as of now.
