(ORAL) The petitioners claiming themselves to be major have approached this Court for protection of their life and liberty. The petitioners claim that they have entered into legal and valid wedlock against the wishes of respondents No.4 and 5 and apprehend threat to their life. On advance notice, Mr. R.S.Thind, DAG, Punjab, appears for the respondent-State and states that on 02.01.2022, statements of the petitioners have been recorded wherein they have denied that they have any threat at the hands of respondents No.4 and 5 and no action is required to be taken against them.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn, as prayed for.
