The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.59 dated 25.09.2019 registered under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC at Police Station Women Cell, District Bathinda.

By an order dated 10.10.2019 while issuing notice of motion, this Court had stayed arrest of the petitioner till the next date of hearing i.e. 15.10.2019. On 15.10.2019, parties were directed to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on the same day at 12 O'clock. The mediation and conciliation proceedings were successful and the matter stands compromised between the parties. 3.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from ASI Jagir Singh submits that petitioner has joined investigation.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation and a compromise has arrived at between the parties, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 10.10.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
