MEHTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the appellant submits that in view of the Gazette Notification issued by the Government of Punjab and published on 27.02.2024 regarding the dissolution of the Gram Panchayats in the State, which have completed the term of 05 years from the date of their first meeting, the instant appeal has become infructuous and the same may be disposed of.

Learned counsel for respondent No.1 has no objection to the above-discussed submission as made by learned counsel for the appellant. 3.
