      """"" 4- 445, ( Petitioners seek protection of their life and liberty as they apprehend danger at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 6 and other relatives because they have solemnised marriage on 28.12.2021 against the wishes of said respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners identifies the petitioners on the basis of documents attached. It is contended that the petitioners are major, their dates of birth being 03.01.1989 and 01.1.1993, respectively. Copy of Matriculation Certificate of petitioner no.1 and Adhar Card of petitioner no.2 regarding their date of birth are appended with the petition as Annexures P-1 and P-2, respectively, though only year of birth of petitioner no.2 is mentioned in his Adhar Card. Copy of marriage certificate and photographs of the marriage are on record as Annexures P-3 and P-4, respectively. It is submitted that there is no impediment to the marriage of the petitioners. Petitioners, it is stated, submitted representation dated 27.12.2021 (Annexure P-5) to respondent No.2 i.e., Senior Superintendent of



     Police, Fazilka, for redressal of their grievance but no action has been taken thereon.

Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3.

Mr.Arun Kaundal, DAG., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. Advance copy of the petition stands served. Without commenting upon the age of the petitioners or validity of their marriage or validity and genuineness of the certificates/documents appended with the petition, respondent No.2 -Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, is directed to look into representation dated 27.12.2021, Annexure P-5 submitted by the petitioners and take appropriate action if any/as may be required, keeping in view the threat perception to the petitioners.

Petition is disposed of accordingly.
