**** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) On 11.08.2025, the following order was passed:- "The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for quashing of the impugned order dated 02.06.2025 (Annexure P-3) passed by the Additional Sessions Judge-I, Sri Muktsar Sahib, in case bearing No.NDPS-249 of 2023 dated 22.05.2023 in FIR No.44 dated 23.03.2023 under Section 22(b) of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Kabarwala, District Sri Muktsar Sahib whereby the bail bonds and surety bonds of the petitioner stood forfeited to the State.

The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that as the petitioner was involved in another FIR due to which the dates were shuffled. Therefore, he could not appear before the Trial Court on 02.06.2025 because of which the impugned order came to be passed. He states that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the proceedings once again. Notice of motion for 29.09.2025.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today and subject to a deposit of Rs.25,000/- as costs with the Punjab and Haryana High Court Employees Welfare KUSUM 2025.09.30 09:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC Chandigarh

A copy of the receipt depositing a sum of Rs.25,000/- with the aforesaid Association as well as a copy of the order granting interim bail to the petitioner be produced in the Court on the next date of hearing. "

Despite the passing of the afore-mentioned order, the petitioner has not surrendered before the Trial Court and has not deposited the sum of Rs.25,000/-.

In view of the above, the present petition stands dismissed. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
