The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 9.

After arguing vehemently on the merits of the case, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition to enable the petitioner to pursue her representation before the competent authority and take all other appropriate remedies as available to her in accordance with law.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, with the liberty aforesaid.
