Sekhon, Advocate for respondents No.6 to 10. ***** RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J (ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to the respondents to submit the police report/challan in the competent Court at Jaito, in case FIR No.145 dated 04.09.2019 under Section 447, 427, 506 and 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Jaito, Faridkot. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since the date of registration of the FIR, the investigating agencies are not proceedings with the investigation and hence, the case is pending investigation till date. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Nachhatar Singh, has submitted before this Court that the case is already under investigation and the investigating agencies are in a position to file the report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. within four weeks.

In view of the submissions made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to complete the investigation and file the report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. before the Court concerned within four weeks as submitted before this Court. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail his remedy as available to him under the law.
