As per the status report submitted on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 dated 12.3.2022 detenue-Pooja Devi daughter of the petitioner was recovered from the custody of one Joginder son of Attar Singh on 10.3.2022 from Ugheti District Badayun (Uttar Pradesh). The State counsel submitted that thereafter Pooja Devi was handed over to her parents. She further stated that in this regard FIR No.691 dated 8.12.2021 under Sections 363, 366-A IPC at Police Station Kundali, District Sonepat was registered. ( 2 ) CRWP-12408-2021 In the light of the above, the present petition seeking writ of Habeas Corpus is hereby disposed of having been rendered infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate legal remedy available to him against aforesaid Joginder or any other person involved in the kidnapping of Pooja Devi.
