(Oral) It is submitted that an FIR has been registered against certain persons who have allegedly forged a Will but the police is unable to proceed with the investigation due to non-availability of the relevant revenue record. Respondent No.2 has been requested vide communications dated 26.08.2022 and 14.09.2022 (Annexures P-4 and P-5 respectively) to make available the relevant record but no action has been taken.

Considering the nature of order being passed, no reply is necessary to be filed.

This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the pending representations dated 26.08.2022 (Annexure P-4) and dated 14.09.2022 (Annexure P-5) by passing a speaking order as expeditiously as possible and in any case not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
