The prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned Memo dated 20.12.2021 issued by respondent No.2 whereby respondent No.3 has been directed to fix the seniority and pay of the petitioner w.e.f. 11.04.2014 instead of 07.12.2006. 2.

Learned State counsel submits that in terms of order passed by this Court on 03.02.2022, the matter was reconsidered and the previous order as impugned in the present case has since been withdrawn and order dated 20.12.2021 has been passed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though in the written statement, it has been mentioned that his grievance has been redressed, on which basis he has no objection for matter to be disposed of, but with liberty that in case required, the petitioner may challenge the same. 4.
