**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (ORAL) The petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 124 dated 19.07.2019, under Sections 406, 420, 177 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Division No. 6, Jalandhar, District Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the FIR wherein it is alleged by the complainant that his father Pritpal Singh has died and after his death accused Sonia has got Innova vehicle transferred in her name by forging the documents. He also contends that the petitioners have been arraigned as accused just because they are sister and brother-in-law of accused Sonia. He also contends that there is no allegation of any benefit being derived by the SATYAWAN 2019.11.19 18:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-43999-2019 (O&M) petitioners and the car, as per the contents of the FIR, is in possession of accused Sonia.

This Court, by order dated 18.10.2019, had directed the petitioners to appear before the Investigating/Arresting Officer and join the investigation and in the event of their arrest, they were to be released on adinterim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Learned State counsel,upon instructions from ASI Jagdish Singh, States that the petitioners have joined investigation and are not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioners and the petitioners having joined investigation and are not required for custodial interrogation, the order dated 18.10.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioners is made absolute.

However, the petitioners shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. They shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands disposed of.
