PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Short reply by way of affidavit of Jasroop Kaur Batth (IPS), ACP, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4 today in Court, which is taken on record. Relevant part thereof reads as under : "4.

That it is essential to highlight that while the preliminary investigation into the aforesaid complaint submitted by the petitioner is currently ongoing, the petitioner has hitherto not cooperated with the investigating agency, as despite several requests, he had no come forward to record his statement with the investigating officer.

That it is crucial to highlight that in the representation (Annexure P-3), the petitioner has not furnished specific details regarding the date, time, and contents of the alleged threats made by Respondent No. 5 and alleged threats made by the official Respondents No. 3 and 4. Furthermore, the petitioner has not cooperated in the preliminary investigation, by not coming forward to record his statement before the investigating officer. Instead, the petitioner has chosen to approach the Hon'ble High Court, making false allegations regarding the inaction of the investigating agency concerning the complaint submitted by Deepak Kumar 2024.01.11 09:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view thereof the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the authorities and this Court is quite sanguine that the authorities shall take action in accordance with law.
