(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, mandamus or any other writ for directing the official respondents to take action against Panchayat Secretary and further to recover the amount of Gram Panchayat from Om Sai Construction and not to harass the Sarpanch without any sufficient reason on a false and frivolous complaint. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already availed his alternate remedy by filing an appeal, therefore, he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. 3.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
