The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents No. 4 & 5. 2.

In compliance of order dated 12.02.2024, the petitioners are present in Court and learned State counsel submits that appropriate information was duly given to respondent No. 4 and his statement was also recorded that he is made aware about the pendency of the present petition and he had assured that he be present in the Court but today there is no representation on his behalf.

In light of the above, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondents No. 2 & 3 to look into the representation dated 22.09.2023 (Annexure P-3) and take appropriate steps in accordance PARUL 2024.03.14 17:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document with law.
