NAMIT KUMAR, J. (ORAL) This revision petition has been filed by the petitioner against the judgment dated 02.08.2022 passed by the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur, whereby judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 09.12.2021 passed by the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Mukerian, holding the petitioner guilty and sentencing him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for two years under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1963 and pay compensation under Section 357 Cr.P.C. to the tune of cheque amount i.e. Rs.9,00,000/- along with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of cheque, has been upheld.

Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw this petition with liberty to file fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars after the petitioner surrenders. Dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid liberty. (NAMIT KUMAR) 09.01.2023 JUDGE R.S.
