The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of FIR No.231 dated 5.11.2018 under Sections 21 & 29 of NDPS Act, Police Station City South Moga, District Moga pursuant to cancellation of his bail by the trial Court on account of his absence before the trial Court on 24.5.2019. 2.

Pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court on 16.10.2019 the petitioner has appeared before the trial Court and has been released on interim bail.

The aforesaid position is not disputed by learned State counsel. 4.

In view of the fact that the petitioner is stated to have been appearing regularly before the trial Court prior to 24.5.2019 and his absence as on said date was first instance of default on his part, a lenient view is taken GAURAV SOROT 2020.01.23 18:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
