The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 18.09.2023 (Annexure P-2) given by the petitioners and take action thereon in accordance with law. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners inter alia submits that respondent No.3 is raiding the house of petitioners without any justifiable cause. The petitioners are law abiding citizens and jurisdictional police official is harassing the petitioners and they are living under constant fear. In this regard, petitioners have submitted a representation dated 18.09.2023 (Annexure P-2) to respondent No.2 but no action has been taken thereon so far. 3.

Notice of motion to the official respondents only. 4.

Per contra, Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. A.G., Punjab, who appears on advance notice, submits that petitioners have been named in FIR No.80 dated 10.09.2023 registered under Sections 452, 324, 323, 427, 506, 148, 149 IPC at PANKAJ KUMAR 2024.02.14 18:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRWP No.9722 of 2023        Police Station Ladhuwal, Ludhiana. Thereafter, a supplementary statement of the complainant was recorded on 30.03.2023 where he stated that petitioners No.1 and 2 are known as Kashmira and Johny respectively. Even the veracity of the representation given by petitioners has been tested and no merit was found therein.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and after perusing the record, this Court finds no merit in the present petition. Consequently, the instant petition stands dismissed.
