1. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, District Gurugram, to get representation dated 06.08.2024 (Annexure P-4) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioner in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon.

2. As far as the prayer of the petitioner for lodging FIR is concerned, it shall be open to the petitioner to approach the Illaqa Magistrate concerned, so as to move an application under Section 175(3) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

3. In case the petitioner moves an application before the Illaqa Magistrate under Section 175(3) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Illaqa Magistrate concerned shall do the needful so as to ensure that the same is disposed off expeditiously in accordance with law.

4.
