NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the impugned transfer office order No.588 dated 11.09.2024 (Annexure P-5). Further prayer has been made to stay the operation of impugned transfer office order No.588 dated 11.09.2024 (Annexure P-5), during pendency of the present petition. On receipt of advance copy of the writ petition, learned counsel for the respondents had put in appearance on 20.09.2024 and sought adjournment to get instructions.

Today, learned counsel for the respondents had produced a copy of the order dated 20.09.2024 whereby the impugned transfer office order No.588 dated 11.09.2024 (Annexure P-5), has been MOHD YAKUB 2024.09.24 18:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CWP No.23976 of 2024 (O&M) modified and now the petitioner has been transferred to DS Division PSPCL Goraya.

In this view of the matter, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the transfer order dated 20.09.2024, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 23.09.2024 and the same may be considered by the competent authority.

If any such representation dated 23.09.2024 on behalf of the petitioner, has been received by the competent authority, the same shall be considered and decided within a period of three weeks from today.
