Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.340 dated 21.09.2023, registered under Sections 323, 324, 34 and 326 (added later on) of IPC, at Police Station City Faridkot, District Faridkot.

By virtue of order dated 20.09.2024, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join the investigation. 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Parvinder Singh, has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation. 4.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 20.09.2024 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
