PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to step up the pay and pension of the petitioner at par with his junior.

Counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that despite the petitioner having caught his junior who was promoted earlier in time owing to being a candidate of reserved category, he has not been granted step up to be at par with his junior.

Issue notice of motion Mr. Shreesh Kakkar, Advocate appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that as per the assertions made in the writ petition the representation (Anneuxre P-3) made by the petitioner is pending adjudication with respondent No.3 and submits that the same shall be decided within a period of four weeks.
