-.- KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Despite case being called twice no one has turned up on behalf of the petitioner.

The State counsel on instructions from Inspector Davinder Pal Singh apprised the Court that the petitioner was the driver of tractor-trolley loaded with sand and was seized by the police, which reached at the spot after getting secret information regarding illegal mining being carried out by the accused persons.

The State counsel further submitted that the petitioner is required for further investigation of the case. Today none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
