The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to release payment of bills for supplying construction material. 2.

On 08.08.2025, the following order was passed by this Court:- "Counsel for the petitioners has made a reference to communication dated 12.12.2024, Annexure P10, addressed by the Executive Engineer, Panchayati Raj, Fatehabad to the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Fatehabad, which depicts that the construction has been completed and the building has been handed over to the Health Department, but payment has not been made. Advance copy of the petition has been served upon State.

The respondent is claiming that payment claimed by petitioners is disputed. As per affidavit dated 28.01.2026 of the petitioner, no inquiry was initiated against the petitioners. In any case, vigilance inquiry stands concluded. They were concerned with supply of material. The building stands handed over to concerned department. The petitioner's payment was never disputed.

Learned State counsel submits that as per his instructions admitted dues would be released within two months from today. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of.

If the respondent fails to release the payments within stipulated period, it shall be liable to pay interest @ 6% per annum on the expiry of said period.
