Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot to look into the grievance as put forth by learned counsel for the petitioners and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to petitioners from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against them in accordance with law.
