(ORAL) The petitioner herein seeks the relief of anticipatory bail in the criminal case arising out of the FIR bearing No.99 dated 08.07.2019, registered at Police Station Anaj Mandi, District Patiala, under Sections 32 & 71 of the NDPS Act, 1985 and Sections 420 & 120-B IPC. Learned State counsel, on the instructions from ASI Balwinder Singh, Police Station Anaj Mandi District Patiala, submits that in compliance of the order dated 06.12.2019 as passed by this Court, the petitioner had joined in the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required and he is not involved in any other criminal case of the similar nature.

In view of the above-discussed submission of learned State counsel, the instant petition is allowed and the relief of ad-interim bail, as SEEMA SHARMA 2021.07.30 16:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Chandigarh

extended to the petitioner vide the said order dated 06.12.2019, is made absolute.
